Calathea Medallion is an evergreen tropical plant native to the Americas. It is also known as a Prayer Plant? because of the way its leaves fold upright in the evening as if in prayer (a process is called Nyctinasty).

Features striking round leaves with unique purple underside. Easy to care for and thrives indoors with minimal care.

Pet friendly. Non toxic to cats and dogs.

Requires frequent watering and continuous availability of water in the soil; however, dont allow the roots to soak in standing water. As a tropical plant, Calathea Medallion prefers temperatures above 15C.
